The first series-produced e-vehicles are ready for the road. Battery makers are working to extend ranges. E-cars may soon achieve a market breakthrough in Europe. As an innovative electric utility, RWE wants to be in at the beginning here and make an important contribution.
Plug & charge-–the principle under which e-cars can charge up fast and easily at RWE's public recharging stations. The station tells the RWE customer center how much electricity got drawn, and RWE books it to the customer’s personal account.
A gate to a virtual world of materials
RTT designed its uniquely innovative high-end visualization system for anyone who regularly has to prepare new materials and samples for prototypes and presentations.
With this target group in mind, it aimed to develop an easy-to-use user interface that would not need an expert knowledge of 3D applications. The system is operated by touch or by a mouse, whichever the user prefers. designaffairs suggested a process-oriented user guidance approach that helps a user easily understand the individual work steps. Intermediate results and camera settings can be saved anytime and added to a virtual library.
