With the Design Style Observation (DSO) we can provide you with a guide and an overview of the various design styles – both for classic product design and for interface design.
It is based on our continuous monitoring and analysis of stylistic characteristics which gives us a detailed overview of trends. The model allows products to be clustered and stylized according to formal characteristics and specific material features within the DSO-Matrix.
The result is an allocation of individual products to the different design styles thanks to the combination with our toll SimuPro®. As such, the DSO helps to find a mutual understanding of the language used in the creative process.
The tool provides orientation and security in the extensive diversity of product and interface worlds and can be implemented as a supporting tool for competitive analysis, too.
